The Firm advises clients including banks and financial institutions on all areas of banking, debt recovery, retail banking, consortium lending, insolvency and negotiable instrument laws. The Firm handles recovery suits on behalf of its clients in various courts/recovery tribunals and the lawyers of the Firm regularly appear before the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) and Appellate Tribunal (DRAT). The Firm further assists banks and financial institutions in title searches and due diligence. The Firm also advises clients on all areas of law relating to Sick Industrial Companies and appears before the designated Board and Appellate Authority for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction (BIFR/AAIFR). The firm assists in settlement negotiations along with rehabilitation schemes of companies which are financially distressed.
